About Ashish

Engineer by training. Builder by nature.

I specialize in GenAI applications, LLM pipelines, and the distributed systems that make them reliable at scale. Most of my work lives at the intersection of machine learning and backend engineering — where the interesting problems actually are.

At Cisco I owned end-to-end architecture for billing and payments infrastructure serving global markets. That meant Python and Golang microservices, MongoDB at scale, 99.99% uptime, and on-call at 2 AM when things broke. I cut transaction latency by 30% and kept it there.

I hold an M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara with a focus on machine learning, computer vision, and signal processing. I'm a US citizen eligible for Secret clearance.
